In recent years, there has been a surge in the number of business fraud cases on the Internet. In view of this, Consumer Council indicated that there were more needs to be done to regulate group buying websites.
As a matter of fact, police have set up a special task force in their campaign against a rising number of business fraud cases on the Internet. With the surge in the number of illegal selling cases, complaints about group buying are also becoming a sharp increase.
