Recently, when we watch the news report, we can hear the voice which is expressing objection. To my astonishment, people who join the protest are quite young. If we look deeply, we can find a phenomenon in Hong Kong. Late-twenties focus on the collective memories instead of the economy. They don’t agree with the government that destroys the village to build the rail link. However, no matter how hard they try, the executives in Hong Kong only convince them and never take any action to address the problem. We can find that the late-twenties only care about the economic benefits. As a Hong Kong resident, I feel quite angry since the chief executive ruins all the heritage in Hong Kong because of maintaining the status of International Financial Center. Our next poor generation will not realize Hong Kong history. If the late-twenties aren’t willing to protect the heritage in Hong Kong, how do the youngsters rescue Hong Kong?
